Psychological Self Portrait - Third Phase of Maturing
Supervising teacher : Wojciech Juchniewicz
This self-portrait is a personal interpretation of my adolescence and my transition into adulthood.
A young woman, laid bare before the world, attempts to dissect her inner self in the hope of achieving an understanding of who she is and what she desires.
She stands amid a flood of events and a cacophony of thoughts, fearful of the future and of her own path ahead. At the same time, she carries within herself a sense of calm, represented by the figure on the left, and exhaustion—almost surrender—embodied by the reclining figure.
She is living through a restless period, marked by constant decision-making and confronting the consequences of those choices.
The symbolism includes organs, inner sensitivity, exposed flaws, weaknesses, and mistakes.
A hybrid of painting and sculpture reflects the chaos of the inner world and the excess of external events.
The tripartite representation of the figure expresses the simultaneous diversity of thoughts and emotions, as well as ongoing inner transformations.

“Moments“
Rotoscoping animation
major: Photography and Film, specialization: Computer Animation
supervising teacher : Zuzanna Malinowska
Life is the act of collecting moments.
Seemingly insignificant instants form the foundation of existence, because—even if we are reluctant to acknowledge their ironic importance—it is they that come together to create the path each of us must walk. A path that, due to the sheer number of its moments, is unrepeatable and fleeting. As a result, many seek witnesses to their journey—witnesses who can grant it meaning.
Moments, a rotoscope animation, depicts an apparently insignificant instant from the lives of two people in love. These are moments to which one cannot return—moments that often go unnoticed, yet build relationships and form the basis of a healthy, fulfilling partnership and friendship. My aim was to convey the positive emotions experienced by lovers. Through movement, I sought to capture the impermanence and lightness of such moments.
Technical information: duration 68 seconds; frame rate 12 FPS.
Voice: Gustavo Camilo Botelho.
Music: Quando Bate Aquela Saudade Rubel; Doxy Phil Woods
Rotoscope animation is a technique based on drawing over previously recorded live-action footage.
